PUBLIC POLICY COUNCIL

The Children’s Alliance Public Policy Council is recruiting for new members.

The Children’s Alliance Public Policy Council (PPC) is an all-volunteer committee of the Children’s Alliance Board of Directors, with participation by non-Board members as well. We welcome diversity of members in all forms, with particular attention to having a Public Policy Council that represents the geographic and racial/ethnic diversity of Washington state.

The PPC provides the Children’s Alliance with public policy analysis, advice to staff/Board, and recommendations to the Children’s Alliance Board that advance our priorities. PPC members contribute to the organization’s focus on racial equity and efforts to undo institutionalized racism.

Individuals committed to the Children’s Alliance mission, vision, and values are welcome to apply to be a member of the PPC. Applicants are appointed by the current members of the PPC.

For this current round of recruitment of new members, we particularly encourage younger adults and people of color to apply.
