Bio

As a child, Christine wanted to be everything from a fashion designer, dentist, lawyer and singer. Today, she serves as Director of Development and Communications for Children’s Alliance, where she provides strategic oversight and leadership for the organization’s fundraising efforts and cultivation of our community of supporters. She joined the organization in 2019, motivated by the opportunity to work alongside other people who were interested in integrating antiracist practices into their daily work—something which, she has since learned, requires an equal amount of learning and unlearning. Prior to joining Children’s Alliance, she worked at the Museum of History and Industry and International Community Health Services, where every day, she experienced the joy of connecting people to a cause that they love. Christine’s top four conversation topics are: plants, food, plants that turn to food, and other people’s children.
