You're invited to Have a Heart for Kids Day on Monday, January 24! This event will be held virtually via Zoom.
Nearly two years after it began, Washington's children and families still bear the enormous burden of the COVID-19 pandemic. Recent data shows that children—particularly children of color—are experiencing worsened mental health, food insecurity, housing instability, lack of health care, and lack of digital access for remote learning. Compounding these conditions are the longstanding harms of poverty and racism. Together, they pose immense threats to Washington's future.
You can make a difference for kids by calling on lawmakers to design the strong policies and investments our communities need.
