Zero to Three has updated their federal advocacy tools to include new information from Congress and the Administration. Attached to this post are three updated tools,
also available on the Zero to Three website:
- Tracking Services for Infants, Toddlers, & Their Families: A Look at Federal Early Childhood Programs and the Roles of State and Local Governments. This tool presents information on the roles of federal, state and local governments in key federal programs aimed at very young children, such as the newly-proposed Promise Neighborhoods and Early Learning Challenge Fund.
- Congressional Committees Adressing Infant and Toddler Issues. A succinct guide to committees responsible for the implementation of programs aimed at infants and toddlers. Each entry contains a list of programs of interest associated with that committee, an overview of the committee, and a list of committee members.
- Federal Agencies Responsible for Implementing Programs Affecting Infants and Toddlers. Each entry includes a list of associated programs in the agency, an overview of the agency (brief history and purpose), and relevant agencies and officies within the larget agency.
