Throughout two decades in policy and advocacy work in Washington, Hannah has been involved in many of the major recent issues and advances in early learning, including provider compensation and professional development, quality rating, the Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program, Pre-K, subsidy policy, home visiting, and kindergarten readiness. As a former staff member of Children’s Alliance, Hannah led the campaign to promote racial equity and early learning in the creation of the new state Department of Children, Youth & Families in 2017. Hannah has also previously been on staff with the Economic Opportunity Institute and the League of Education Voters and has consulted for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Thrive Washington, Educare, and the Cradle Through College Coalition, among others.
